Two 8 hrs shifts isn't even worth going in for. My manager screwed me over again. First it started abt 30ish hours then they deleted two shifts. If they were not doing a special last minute swap for a medical I would of called the union and said "They're f*'n with my schedule again." I have called out for weeks where they gave me like one shift. If they continue this bs I will call the union and say "It's time to officially file something against the manager."
I requested it off. Denied. Yea thanks. Then they gave me hours then took them away. Showed them the medical work saying "Disabled for ... 7 days." ... Then they finally complied.
You see Kroger... Bs like this is what is making me not want to remain long term with company any more. I do this job for health insurance but if you can't give me enough hours for them I'm finding something else. Or, as I'm already in school I may just bump up to full time status and say to hell with this company. I'm very fortunate to not really require the income from this job. It helps but that's not my wealth. If I really needed a stable 40 hr a week job I would of left a long bleepen time ago.
As this is a one time special request I shall not call the union but when I get back into working mode and your schedules begin to reflect <25 hrs a week. Yea, I am calling the union at that point. 25 hrs a week isn't even a job at that point.
