I've repeatedly had to put my foot down about the rules about why we can't modify, change or "make up a price" on items. I've had to repeat crack down on repeat offenders who take advantage of mark downs to the extreme. I don't mind doing this from time to time but each time you come in is getting old and irritating. I am going to start reminding people of these rules many of these repeat individuals I've had to start telling "No" to because my job isn't worth your people's penny pinching.
1. If you're complaining about paying full price for an item? Why on earth do you need it anyways. Simply put you don't need it.
2. If I have to pay full price for it you do too. It's not fair if you get a discount on an item and I can't.
3. I per the mark down rules can't print out a sticker for a cheaper item and slap it down on a more expensive item. That's policy violation.
4. I can't open up mark down bags and combine them. That's against policy.
5. I can't put good produce in a mark down bag just because you say so.
I'm fed up with this and it gets old once customers learn they can ask for something and get their way. Our lead has recently cut off a few regulars and I don't blame him. Especially after one hara---ssive incident. Where a lady was a rude di--ck about the best "produce" and she destroyed an entire box of produce to get her way then was an even bigger aff hole and returned her whole purchase 2 days later. Managers know if she comes in again they must help her. I'm glad she offended her self so much she stopped coming in here. Good for you B*. Go hara0ss someone else.
6. No, I am not going to mark down that pie just because the crust is cracked on top. You're going to cut it anyway and it's still going to taste the same.
