For years I noticed our department was not performing to standards and everyone figured out a routine that just sort of worked. No one was properly trained and they just fumbled and mumbled through the job. We finally got a new store manager that is making people follow the policies, procedures and rule book that our department was to be following since day one of our new lead. It shouldn't take multiple complaining, giving up on trying to accomplish anything only to get a lead that came from a larger store that actually functioned to properly to do anything about this bs.
My coworker has a past tiffle with our current manager and just walks away from him the minute she sees him enter the department or gets near by him. Overall I don't mind him and a lot of the staff don't mind him. My coworker isn't the brightest batch of the bunch and has never worked more than minimum wage low brow jobs most of her life with zero signs of mentally improving her self or her skills to do better. She gets into arguments with staff and people and keeps trying to much the system. I don't mind being a team player but I recently brought up with the manager she keeps tinkering with my schedule and she can not do that as she is not a lead or manager. Finally she was told to stop and I don't have to worry about sudden changes. To a degree I don't mind being a team player but this occurs so much I'm getting fed up with it. She's a micromanager of the department and has been repeatedly told to stop it by management and coworkers and she needs to be careful because some of what she does has crossed over into haras--sment.
