I was shopping at wal mart today and saw little shelf tags that said "temporarily out of stock" stuck next to the item upc just like we do at kroger. Who started this practice, us or them? Theirs were less noticeable, seemed to be more helpful to employees than customers (ours are bold, blue).

I work for Giant Food in the northeast. I am the only full timer left on night crew. The night lead makes 4 bucks less than me, has no benefits and is part time. Turnover is near 100%. I'm just wondering what working fir a union shop is like. .

Just like to say your welcome. Thanks to pristine customers such as myself my big spending contributed to your tiny paychecks this holiday year!! I asked today to see the schedule. I was told they will no longer be posted in the store You have to look online. Is this the whole company? Someone said its to save on paper. I am going to buy a pack of paper out of sarcasm and put it on the managers desk with a note. Here is some paper now print the schedule.
