Do you ever feel like your store manager is just out to get you? Let me begin by saying that no one likes him. I work in meat, and we are very short handed constantly. We're several hours under budget. It's just me and one other guy closing. Store manager comes around with a list of things to do around 8 o'clo...

I was curious what the benefits of becoming a regular employee are compared to part time. The only thing I've heard so far is higher than everyone on part time senority list and able to bump anyone below me if I want their shift(more hours). I already have insurance since I hit my 1 year mark a few months ag...

I have been working 40-44 hours for a while now. How many weeks do you have to work 40 hours to be bumped to full time? Also Would Holiday Pay(Christmas) be included in the average hours per week?

I was recently promoted from bagger to cashier in August. I work in the Atlanta Division. Are they supposed to tell you to select a second preference before they deny vacation time? Earlier in the year they gave us a sheet telling us to select preferences, I filled it out and they said nothing to me about it. I put in Christmas as my first preference and also did on Express HR and now they have de...

I haven't been offered another job yet, but I'm looking and there's one i'm close to getting, I think. When I put in my notice, would I be able to also ask for my vacation week for this year before I leave? Also should I stick with two weeks plus vacation week for notice or just one due to kroger's putting out...

I was doing a floor sweep tonight and in one of the aisles went past these two women. One of them snapped "you are supposed to say "excuse me"" and I just ignored them and moved on. I was no where near them in the aisle. What IS it with these people?!? Don't expect me to kiss your a**!
