What is Kroger policy regarding a front-end department lead wearing the red vest and working as a front-end supervisor when that lead was not promoted to a front-end supervisor, but the CSM allows that department lead to do that?

So just got a letter from the union today talking about a possible increase in wages. But only if they can get a negotiations committee set up and agreements can be had. But if not we'll get more of the same til Aug. 2020. My only thought is do these negotiations ever go anywhere, worthwhile? Or is it just...

Why do they: 1: Insist on everything double-bagged-even if it is only 1 item 2: Tie up every plastic bag in the cart and line them up 3: Load up their cart and when they get to the cashier decide they don't want half the stuff in there 4: Constantly watch the screen as the cashier rings up items thinkin...

Our store has started a morning store walk our store manager has to arrive at the crack of dawn for abunch of pointless corporate bs. Any body elese agree?

We're having a flash sale on angel food cakes this coming Tuesday. They're going to be $2.99. They sent us 20 cases. We are not going to sell 240 angel food cakes in one day, especially when it's not all that good of a sale price. It'll probably take us until after Christmas to get rid of all them.

I was told 2 stores in local 536 were at risk of closing. It was explained that there are about four stores in duals right now. That 2 of them might be closing within the next year. Does anyone on here know which stores they're talking about?

Very interesting stuff. Specially all the negative ones. Saw one review from a guy who said our store doesn't cater to the handicapped. Basically cause we don't have any working electric carts. Saw another about employees standing around the Uscan, chatting away, while they waited.
