I didn't think working at kroger would be as bad as it is... but it is My position is a bagger, and from day one I have hated it. Literally every time I see a customer come up to checkout with a EXTREMELY huge order, I want to go outside and get carts. Why? Because I get no help from the checkers who literally w...

I've worked at Kroger for two years now, and I've worked in quite a few departments, mostly front end and now meat. I've also helped out in clicklist, produce, and grocery. I personally prefer meat, but I was wondering what y'all thought.

I'm just curious...Have any of you guys seen in your years of retail experience something done or said by a manager of such utterly inexcusable ineptitude that it defies logic or explanation? Keep in mind that this could be any manager, store or department, male or female, Kroger or not, present or fo...

Our store's HR manager is leaving soon, I'm wondering whether applying for it or not would be a good choice. I've heard they make around $13/hour, which is more than I make but not by much, and they're not union. But it seems an easy gig, right? Interview and paperwork mostly, I never see ours doing any li...

Yes, there is a distinction. Regular trolls who just think they're funny (and some of them are, in all fairness) are one thing. But the malicious, hate-baiting ones who love inciting anger? This all goes out to YOU: You're the the most sniveling, terrified, dickless little pussies in creation. You g...

Is getting cash back at the register a courtesy from Kroger or is Kroger obligated to provide that service? I ask this because as a cashier, I have had customers get upset that I did not have enough cash in my register to give them cash back for the amount they wanted to receive. What do you tell the custome...

Can't a Lead or FSM get in trouble for freely giving overtime when theres no need? I mean this cuts hours. This is also money lost. Which is one reason a lot of Krogers are closing. Not because of over time, but because of finances ( not having enough income to stay open). Our Lead and comanagers are consta...

I mean, I go there, and I don't know where something is. I ask any random employee, and if they don't know, like today when I asked this one girl, they got their walkie-talkie, that every employee has, and they ask, and someone responds with an answer, and I now know where that thing is. Here at Kroger, do I...

Are there cameras at the entrance of restrooms as a means to figure out the timing of people going in and out of the restrooms? "Kroger Pickup" sounds weirder to me. Our store still has clicklist logos all over the place. And one giant clicklist logo embedded into the wall. Wonder when they're gonna remove that. -- Edited by Mr Frontenac on Sunday 7th of October 2018 12:14:07 AM

Okay! Every day we have to mark down items that are to be sold bt the next day. In our department a few of us mark down the items to 0.99. A couple of times when we've done this someone has come along and took the mark down tags off of our items, to put them on other things they are buying. We were thinking it was c...
