We're all fed up with our department and store. The lead protects his favorite. Store manager protects his favs as well. I can't tell you how many shi--ty things I've seen staff get away with. Many of us are discriminated against while the two favs get to push all the o.t. they want. Make up the shifts th...

Another communication blunder failure about how the program I Am which is essential to change your pass code was changed. Kroger failed to inform employees about this technology change yet again. So they get employees complaining about how they can't change their pass code. This bs is why I'm fed up...

The side help policy must go. Center store departments can't function properly if everyone is pulled to the front end to bag customers groceries or pick up for over half their shifts almost every day. Front end manager needs to staff and schedule the associates hired for their department the right...

I'm not qualify to baby-sit an employee on the job. I work in retail, I do not work as a nanny. Who in the world hired that employee? Anyone baby-sitting an employee in the retail industry?

Has anyone noticed this? HR representatives, at least at the Krogers I've worked at, are universally grumpy. Yet their job is dealing with people! My first experience with a Kroger HR rep was my orientation. My orientation was at a store other than the one I was hired at due to schedule conflicts. My h...

Twice now we've had our new schedule write screw people over on the schedule and the union has been involved for a while now. Due to unfair schedules. Coupled with people complaining left and right about this or that. Twice now in the past few months we've had to rely on the paper wall schedule because th...

When I was hired about 11 years ago, we had about 11 people working in our Deli. Now we are down to 2-3 and many nights it has to close early due to no staff. Does Kroger have any policies in place if ICE conducts a raid for illegals? According to the current allowances, they can go into churches, places of em...

What is y'alls perception on the scan right guarantee? In the past two years, ive had two people argue with me until they're blue in the face that we have to honor the "scan right guarantee" no matter what, even if we have caught it at the register before payment has been made.

Since our store manager took over no one is happy. Union stepped it up a notch and came in and talked to everyone and I mean every staff member and compensated with their schedules to tell their story. No one is happy. Manager obviously has issues with women and many women are not happy with him.

Good lord my manager is an a@@ hole. I request a little time off work for medical. Denied. Show them the dr note saying I was not lying. They decide to honor it. So I only get 16 hrs this week (date of original post) and I am not showing up for the second shift. It's honestly not worth my time to go in for this dri...

After management wrongfully removed my position then made a similar position and hired in two new hires at minimum wage and bumped to to fewer hours that was sort of the last draw for me. The union fought for me and got me some of my hours back but no where near what I use to have. No, this is the last draw. Thi...
