No, you dumb bitch. We want the Health Department to shut us down.

Mr Frontenac

How did they get angry? Was it because of something you did, or something they did? What did you say to them after they they got angry? Did they threaten you or intimidate you in anyway? Did they demand a manager? What did the manager do for them? Did the customer say anything about you to the manager?

Mr Frontenac

This time I made the mistake of thinking I could actually rationalize with the customer. His order was for a total of $19. He took out his bag of coins and started shoving them down the Uscan. Surprise, Uscan has jammed up and doesn't want to take anymore coins. Flags me down, "why this thing ain't takin'...

So I worked at Kroger during the summer last year and went on a LOA for school. Now it's about to be over, so I'm wondering if I just come in when it's over to talk to them or if they'll call me/update my schedule or if I need to call them...? How does this work??

Hello I am a former employee of kroger and I need a little bit of help. I worked at Kroger in 2015 and was on trial period at Kroger. my old store manager made me sign paperwork to be put on probation for 6 weeks and she said she was going to call me after 6 weeks, then 6 weeks was up and no call back from them. What are the requirements to become full time at Kroger? I've heard it is a minimum of 1500 hours for the year. Is this true? If so, do they consistently schedule you a certain minimum of hours. At my store the minimum schedules for part time is 20. Even if they only schedule me the minimum of only 20 hrs eac...

Hey all! For starters, I just want to say that I love reading your posts because it lets me know I am not the only one in pain. Now more to my topic, recently my Lead and department heads told us that hours were being cut and that this was from high up in corporate. When asked why they just repeated the same res...

At our store we never have enough carts for the elderly or disabled, and the ones we usually do have their batteries drained and need recharging. That's because these young people, who are fully able to walk, are always taking them and joy riding in the store as they're shopping. It makes me wonder why s...

So basically, they have one order of groceries and they're ready to pay. But instead of just giving you one set of cash for you to tender, they each have their own cash. And each of them want their own change back, because they only want to take a certain amount of their cash. Let me give you an example. Orde...

Well let's see: Earlier this week, was the last UC for nights above 18 and was doing trash. Get the spare key to open the compactor, disarm the compactor alarm (why we have two alarms if one isn't even tied to the system??? Stupid!!!) and I open the door, only to find out a few seconds later I hear the store k...

So I'm transferring from the front end, where I worked at customer service and was a floor supervisor, to the meat department. I'm really tired of the front end's crap and management said it was fine if I switched. So that's happening soon. Do y'all have any tips for working in meat?

One of my coworkers is bullying, picking on me and it needs to stop. I was recently hired to work in ClickList. This is my first ever job. I've been to work a few times now but only for the initial computer testing, touring, and training. Two days ago I was told by my hiring manager to ask my coworker when I should come the next day, I go to him and he says 8 AM. Next day (yesterd...

I had a job lined up with Kroger and after I took my background check (Ohio pharmacy background check) I received notice from the State of Ohio pharmacy board I'm clean and cleared to work. I had a job interview at Kroger, and was hired as a click-list associate on Saturday April 29th. The hiring manager I met with told me she would call me within the next couple days to tell me to come to orientation. She even told me "Orientation is on Tuesday" which was May 1st. I never got the call for when o...

A Kroger supplier recalls ground beef because it might be contaminated with bits of plastic

KrogerBagger4Life · KrogerBagger4Life

So I've been a Kroger employee for quite a while now and I feel like I've seen my fair share of screwups at my store, but this latest one takes the cake. An office worker is dating one of our CS managers and she has been acting like she is a CS manager herself. She's even denied workers the right to go to the bat...
