I am interested in working for Kroger. I was told the job would begin as a Part-time employee, bit would probably get up to 40 hours a week during the busy summer season. Do part-time employees receive any benefits? If so, when? As for full-time employees, what are the benefits and when do they go into e...

Like for example, a customer has scanned all their items, but they have not scanned their plus card or don't have one. Is there a way to tell, just by looking at the screen of scanned items that certain items have a discount associated with them? I know that there are these weird characters that are attac...

In the past, I've gotten a few customers who made remarks that they don't like me standing there while they're checking out on Uscan. Even though, me standing there is my job. But today, this guy is different. This guy, comes up to me, and asks me why I was standing there next to him, "the whole time." I'm t...

I dont understand why just one division gets a raise, thats not fair at all. I work in the Delta Division and I found out that the biggest store in my division, the employees get paid more. Thats not fair because its not equal.

Just found out that my store doesn't have power. It doesn't even have backup generators. So, how long can refrigerated and frozen food sit out before it has to be tossed?

In our store it seems those are the people who take up the most of our time with insane and ridiculous stuff (unauthorized refunds, cashier rings up whole order then customer decidews they don't want half of it, etc.) I ask this in all sincerity.

Red5StandingBy

Long story short, I have been in both grocery and dairy for about a year now, and I'm about to be placed in produce. What kind of difference or similarity can I expect?

what time does your deli or bakery department head usually come in. My deli department head seems to think she needs to work at 4 am everyday.

One of the written comments we received today was from a customer complaining there were two people in front of the store "perjuring" for money. I think they need a vocabulary lesson.
