So I make 8 an hour right now, and am currently listed according to Express HR for an 8.85 pay increase in june, however my next job step is 0500, which if i remember correctly is top out. My union contract however, states for any Utility Clerks employed after 3 years, 9.05 and we are topped then. But my con...

Because of the new tax cut package finally passed by Congress and approved by President Trump, the economy is expected to be BOOMING this coming year, and many companies are already raising wages and giving out bonuses to some (or all) of their employees. Walmart announced they are raising their s...

The associate manager at my store swears that associates with a year or more will be getting 3 weeks of vacation time. Does this have any merit or is he mistaken?

Some people misinterpret Seniority. Seniority only has to do with hours, vacations, days requested off, etc. Others think seniority means you don't have to listen to the Lead or Managers because you've worked their longer than them. This isn't true and causes conflict. They need to call it someth...

People in our store are coming to work sick due to the 3 day rule that says you have to get a doctor's note to return to work if you are out 3 days or more. My manager is also sick too and went home early tonight. Why does Kroger do this? Many employees don't have the money for a doctor like me!!!

Clicklist associates, is your Clicklist dept understaffed? I work at a Kroger store and while our Clicklist has quite a few selectors we still have a hard time catching up on busy days and even not so busy days depending on how many selectors are scheduled that day. Selectors work past their shifts al...

So, I printed off the pass the baton last night. We had 2365 peices which it said would take 54.25 hours to stock. Scheduled hours was 30. Now the problem in our store is that our store manager insists that we not leave until trucks are done every night. I finished my shift last night with 57 hours. Nee...

Just out of curiosity, how many people do other stores have on their overnight stock crews.

About 8 or so years ago, I was a cashier for two years in a completely different grocery chain that is not affiliated with Kroger. Could I have gotten experience pay for that or no?

Some Kroger employees need to work on race relations in the workplace. It hurt like hell to quit my job but my first several weeks in I was being accused of things I didn't do and didn't get an apology from those who accused me. Training was also lacking from my department supervisor. Not saying people...

It's getting annoying. We used to have a decent scheduler, then they gave it to someone else who doesn't know what they're doing and makes careless mistakes. It's not like we're understaffed either. Some days I can only work until 3 and I end up getting scheduled til 5, and they already have 4 other emp...

So, I have been with Kroger nearly 3 years, two stores, and I have shopped probably 15 different stores in different districts. I have asked locally (Mid-Atlantic division) if anyone can tell me about how to get cultural councils started, but no one has resources. CSMs, ASPs, and the one manager that...

My first immediate question is this. If a coupon scans successfully without asking for a manager override, does that mean the coupon is valid for the order?

So I was on closing again tonight as per usual. And as per usual didn't have much help and was left with cookies to label, floor to fill(which I normally would have let it go if there was just a few holes. But they damn near cleaned out the place tonight. As we are getting another incoming of heavy snow this w...

As a cashier, am I allowed to walk into other departments back areas? Like today, I was on my break and a customer asked me where all the eggs are, cause they had all been bought. So I went into the dairy room to look around. I saw some eggs, but because I didn't see any other associate in there from dairy, I di...
