I heard we are supposed to get a discount card, but that is all I heard. Do we get it in the mail or do I need to ask someone for it or what?

Ever since I've started working at Kroger 4 years ago, the sink water from Starbucks has always been free. It's just water from the sink, after all. But last week, management apparently took all the Starbucks employees upstairs and told them they're going to have to start charging 30 cents for water....

Can I get fired for eating a bakery sugar cookie that is set aside for customers and such. I think that a manager saw me do it and am scared now.I am a full time worker, and it seems all the managers in my store caught the "firing bug." I am paranoid about being fired for anything and everything no...

I can't take this anymore. I can't take only having 2 of us in the deli. I can't take my one coworker running off every time she can to do other things besides wait on counter because she thinks she's some kind of department head when she's not. I can't take being put on production and then not being able to d...

There are several Kroger stores in my city, I work in the absolute worst one! Not because of my co workers, they are great.....it is the customers! I need advice on how to deal without getting fired. I have been yelled at, belittled and even had an item thrown at me. My guess is that at least 80% of the pa...

I'm a fairly new CC (about a month and a half), and I'm really sour about something that happened today. So, as a customer and their family were leaving the store today, the customer dropped an ENTIRE GALLON OF MILK in our front lobby and it spilled EVERYWHERE. None of the family thought to pick up and thr...

I don't know how high management is, or where they buy their dank but in what world does it make sense to ignore a leaking freezer because it cost too much to have a facility support member come out. They told me that they would rather payout a slip and fall suit than have someone repair it. So fast foward a w...

I have reviewed several union contracts on the east coast, and if you are unfortunate enough to work in a non right to work state, you know your union is relatively weak and is a money grab for the most part. BUUUTTTT did you know that you do not need union approval to strike when you have had enough??? yo...

Can a customer 1st manager send an employee from a department home for not doing checkstand? Has anyone been sent home for that?

Has anyone else been asked to hide outdated product or wait to scan-out items, or fudge reason codes to cover a manager? It seems to be our store policy.. :/ I thought system manipulation was grounds for immediate termination?!

Before this manager had come to our store, I had been thinking about moving up in my department. I have gotten some training, but at the time we didn't have enough people in our dept, so I had to learn the basics over the course of two months. Now this new manager comes in and takes a liking to me (I always try...

I know of a friend that has been putting in tons of information on some very unethical behavior and all he ever recieves is a canned response from them or they don't bother following up with them. Is there a former member of management who could shed light on this? I told him we should consider contacting...

Started cashiering a couple weeks ago and I want to figure out what the best procedures are. If something rings as $10 and it is supposed to be $5 is it best to store coupon off the $5 or use Make It Right? How do you do rain checks or Make It Right by the pound? A manager was just telling me that a barcode t...

And aside from that, what's with this new .50 hours thing? Usually, I work 6 hours with a 15 minute break somewhere in the middle... I'm loo...
