As it says on the title I have been offered a job at Kroger and I would like to move up in the company however on my application I stated that I never got fired from a job however I did couple years ago. I want to know how this will effect if I get management position at Kroger

I can count on one had the number of times cops were called to my former store (mostly for high amount shoplifting) and I only saw one customer put in the back of a police car.

We got a memo this afternoon about someone in central Georgia that passed a total of 125 fake Newport cigarette coupons. The notice had a picture of the license plate and apparently this same individual has been pulling this scam at various grocery stores in the middle and southern areas of Georgia fo...

I usually don't mind being a team player but our miss micromanager has taken it a step further and calls us at inappropriate times. She isn't the brightest when it comes to common sense or courtesy and acts like she's in charge when she's not. I'm getting more and more uncomfortable working with her. I b...

New uniform policy might see an ethics if they dont accept a reasonable accommodation for allergies to synthetics and polyesters coupled with a religious accommodation as well. Will present my reasonable accommodation to management but if they reject it the company gets this on them. Hr rep who is...

How come when your coworkers call out thry dont give a shit abt it. Yet when you your self call out their dicks abt it. Not only is this disrespectful it doesnt help support your team members when they are not well. I dont abuse the call out privilege unlike my coworkers.

Every few days we'll have to kick out drug addicts because they go into our restroom and lock them selves in. After a few hours we have to kick them out because after an hour you're pretty much loitering. Every few days this gets old. This is also not on the list of job duties I signed up for.

Saw a memo on my FES desk that said cashiers will have to stand in *front* of their check station, direct customers to the nearest register available and greet every customer that approaches them. The BS is starting to get off the wall-totally ridiculous. Is this going on in your Local area? Did you get...

This sounds exactly like what happened with Office Depot in the early 2000's-they got sued out the wazoo and ended up settling with a lot of their former Assistant Managers. Does Kroger think they can get away with this?

Dear fellow coworker, If I am calling out for mental health reasons you don't need to call each staff member when we call out to inquire why. I have reasonable accommodations and some times they flair up when I get worked more than my proffered hours. please keep your nosey little nose out of our reasons...

You are horrible people. Did you bend over for FREE to take Kroger's retail DICK up your ass? Did they give you a "Kroger Gift Card" to push it? Not all departments need or want it. Probably the CS workers who spend 99% of their shift hold up the CS counter and doing jack all nothing. You're probably the in...

One day go to work and find out your coworker sustained an injury. Through stories you can tell the one thing they injured them selves on, is the one thing they'd have to shove their hand into and leave it there while the door slams shut. Same with the other two times they'd have to intentionally leave tha...

Alright, work is lenient to a point but you sign a contract upon hiring, you know what is expected of you, you understand the attendance policy. This is a line of work where it only flows smoothly if you are there to make work function. I know this job sucks and isn't the best but you can't be calling out 6 ti...

What is Kroger's solution to the problem? Put out even more product so our shrink percentage goes up. If something doesn't sell at a certain price, then putting out five more varieties of that item at the same high price is not going to increase sales. We must carry at least half a dozen "French" brea...
