Hi guys, I'm not an employee, just a customer, but I've heard this announcement (the words in the subject line) 5 out of the last 5 times I've gone to a Kroger in my area. Each time I've gone has been at a different time of the day, and each time has been right as I walk into the store or a minute or two into being...

I need to know what the 7th rule is in the handbook because I got fired after 18 years working for kroger for violation of store rule number 7 ???? Can anyone help

I just had a quick question... I'm a current Kroger employee, promoted to fulltime earlier this year and have been with the company about 8 years. A friend of mine is part time and a recent hire. We're both looking to relocate out of state (Michigan to Texas, if it matters any) sometime next year. It's my...

Been cold here in the South. When the sliding doors open in the main lobby the cold air rushes into the store and you can feel it freezing by uscan, self-check out and one of the registers. So the other day one of our uscan persons was apparently wearing a jacket. But since it wasn't Kroger-approved, the F...

I've been with Kroger for over a year, but ive never worked past 10PM. Thanksgiving week im scheduled to work until 11, i was wondering...

At the start of the year, ESS listed that I had four personal holidays to use, and I successfully used one a few months back. When I did, the site updated to say that I used one, and had three left to use, which I was planning on using next month. But I checked ESS today, and it says I've got personal days left...

I recently was offered a job to work at a local Kroger as a courtesy clerk. I was told I would be contacted once they ran my background so they could go ahead and start me with training and get me on the schedule. It's been two weeks and I haven't heard anything. Should it be taking this long??? I even called t...

so here lately I've been having 3 to 4 pallets of ice in the freezer at one time because the company keeps Distributing it. This past time I barely put a dent in the one I had ordered a few weeks ago and then last week they sent another pallet of the same size bag. It already takes me about a month to get rid of on...

Well the deli/bakery dept. I'm in is down to only 8 people between the two with the people we had quit this week. Yet with this the department managers were forced to cut 20 hours off of next weeks schedule. Seriously WTF are they smoking? And to beat all one of the guys still there comes in hours late al...

I thought that it was rude of the new guy to do that and I didn't say nothing, and now I caught his cold sickness, I'm taking EmergenC. He was two hours late and was supposed to come in at 10'oclock and help me unload the grocery truck for night crew, so that is what he was doing when he sneezed on me, and I was pi...

Anybody have tips on how to throw faster? I usually do the nonfood side of grocery (pet, laundry, paper, baby). We have to go straight off the pallet, no spotting. We usually spot some stuff , but right off the.pallet for the most part. I use the big boxes of paper to hold my trash. Anybody have any words...

I can't deal with being a cashier anymore. Don't really want to move up either, since it's gonna be more BS to put up with and it's not really worth minimum wage. Hated pushing in carts all day and cleaning restrooms, but now it doesn't seem all that bad after I've experienced what it feels like to literal...

Today (November 15th), the store radio only played Christmas music. Usually we have a few sprinkled in at this time of year but this was the first time we heard Christmas music and it was all day. Also our radio is really annoying because it's 90% horrible country

One store is kind of making it seem that way by leaving submitted availability revisions pending indefinitely (ten days) or sometimes by declining them the day of schedule-writing . . . which kicks the can down the road and leaves the work...
