Ive been working for years at the service booth, only get 10.25 an hour, what the heck. Have to deal with the worst customers and the most money and responsibility in the store, why is this position barely above min wage? More people would be willing to deal with these situations if the pay was decent. Im...

(Long story short). I was given a verbal warning about my absenteeism, then was written up. (I had a doctor's appointment, but whatever). That was 7 months ago. How long are write ups kept in your file? I've been feeling like death, but am scared to call out.

I have worked for the Kroger Company for about 3 years. I'm planning on moving down south and the only store that is worth the drive in a Harris Teether. I know Kroger just bought this company so I don't know much about it. I live up north now. Would transferring be too much of a pain in the ass? I plan to come b...

I am having trouble getting to view what I put on my availability when I first was hired in September. One of the managers at my store said I could find it on greatpeople.me. Can someone help me to do that? Thanks

Just curious. We first got a memo that said something to the effect that we would be operating on Christmas day as we used to about 8 years ago but then we got word that the memo was a mistake and that we would not be open this Christmas. Got me wondering if any Kroger stores would be open ?

When you are off work and shopping do you care? Do you watch the lanes, refuse to enter one if there are two people in line? I got yelled at the other night by the comanager saying I messed up her Q Vison. Well let's see, 6 lanes open, each lane had 2 to 4 people in line so I picked the shortest lane and got in l...

Alright, so I applied on 10/18 to be an overnight stocker and haven't recieved any calls or emails yet. I've gone in the store and talked to the customer service dude, whom gave me the number to the hiring manager. So I call her afterwards and she says "Oh sorry I can't look into your application or a...

I've been a Kroger employee for almost 2 years. I recently moved out and need a second job. I got a call from the Meijer in town while I'm waiting for my Kroger transfer to go though. One of my coworkers said I'm not allowed to work for Meijer? I knew I couldn't work for Wal-Mart but I wasn't sure if the policy...

He was on vacation for 3 weeks in a row and during that time, the assistant head of bakery asked me to change my hours of availability because they need more people. So I agreed and did it online, and for those three weeks everything was fine. But then the head of bakery came back and took over making the sch...

I made it to the special mention board (Customer Service Champs board) at my store for customer satisfaction! I don't know if any other stores are doing this, but I feel pretty proud. It means that I'm doing my job right and well. This makes me want to work harder so I can get more special mentions by cust...

So I work night crew in grocery, and am usually scheduled for 12am-8:30am. I might be getting a part time job a couple hours during the day doing some office work and I was maybe looking to get a little more sleep. I'll need to keep up with client emails, so I especially can't do any 12 hour overtime days....

Is there a way to view the Kroger handbook online? I was never given one at orientation because they were out and I've never even thought to ask for one. I mean, who really reads the handbook anyway?

I swear, there's an assistant customer service manager at work who hates me. She ALWAYS yells at me for wearing a sweater. She only singles me out, never anybody else. She'll tell me "You're not allowed to wear that inside." with such a bitchy attitude. But yet, there's cashiers and other b...

40-50% of the store staff falls into this category. People at my store talk about forming an unofficial walk against the manager the days leading up to thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is when we should have kroger by the balls
