Newbie here..5 weeks in and have had several associates tell me to "run" now! Nope, I'm a hard ass and won't budge. However, I am beginning to understand the politics. What I do not understand is how can a manager not be able to spell "manager?" LOL. I have come across so many unhap...

Since minimum wage increases today (to $8.15) does any one know if they will be increasing the pay of all employees to keep the pay difference the same between long term employees and new hires? It's been so long, I don't remember how it was handled last time there was an increase.

EBT was out in my store this morning on the 1st, and I was wondering if any other stores were out? I'm in Texas, and there was a lot of unhappy customers, it was CASH ONLY!!! And they just up and left their baskets, a lot of go backs.

This lady came into my line and complained because they were out of sausage and the guy told her we had more but he didn't know when he was going to put it out. Well after I rung her up she found out he put out the sausage. She was so mad because he put it out right after she asked him about it. She asked me to wat...

So I'm a courtesy clerk, and most days I just go in and do my job until I can go home you know? But today.... well, I got yelled at by my co-manager. See, I was going to go get the broom and do a sweep right? But like, I guess I must've passed some customers on my way up the aisle without.... gasp.... saying hello...

As far as I can tell, this was meant for internal usage, much like those stupid videos they always put out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=02ZBUUoHHV8 My favorite part is "It's all about us valuing our customer's time." If that was true, you would not have implemented this Que-Visio...

Every day while I'm working, I hear a manager come over the speaker and say. "All departments, it's time for rock & roll 80."

So for the heck of it, i signed up for that walking challenge thing and have a little pedometer to keep track of my steps. The site mentions prize drawings for people who participate, but nowhere on the site does it say what those prizes are. soooo.... what are these magical little prizes anyway?
