It seems from some of the managers i have seen come through my store some of them seem a bit clueless of what to do. One was only here for a month and in a few days she is gone to another store.

What am I doing wrong? How do I become full time 40 hours a week? Been a Kroger assoc. for 3 months now. Almost less hours a week (24.50) than when I started. How do they expect someone to live on half of a full weeks pay which is tough to live on anyways?

I won the bagging contest for my store. Next I have to go to my state capitol to compete in another contest. I'm so nervous. Any tips?

So, I was told to join our stores Cultural Council and told of a meeting date and time. I severely doubt it, but are you paid to go to the store for the meeting, aka an hour or two of pay if that's how long it takes? I really don't have much interest in it, but they asked like I didn't have much of a choice.

Ok, so about my insurance, I was told by the shop steward we don't get a card or a policy number, we just tell the doc/dentist the name and that's it... really? I think he said the name was 'the group', so I just go tell the check-in person that and they will know what the hell I'm talking about? And btw, I don'...

Newbie here. At my interview, I was told that I would be meeting with someone to determine my wage. He ( store manager) couldn't tell me that since it varies from employee to employee. I had drug test done last Wednesday and he called me today to tell me to come in this Wednesday for orientation. Is that wh...
