If a part timer puts in there two weeks without taking their vacation will they still get paid for it? Or do they have to take their vacations?

The details aren't important, but there was a misunderstanding, I was the lowest level employee (but non-union) in the department, and thrown under the bus. The incident was considered serious enough where the regional HR guy went down to the store after work. Over the phone he threatened me to eit...

Does anyone else have a problem of people from other departments stealing your supplies? There are always people stealing our squeeges. We'll have a good one for like a week and then it's gone. The one we have now doesn't clean our floors very well because it's not made of the same material as the deli fl...

Putting my two weeks in. As much fun as it is was to work 12 hours at minimum wage, I have to move on to something better. What are some things I should do before I leave? I heard you can get your union fees reimbursed in case you ever work for a company under the same union.

Ever since my store opened (well before I started) the night crew always had 1 or 2 people at 8p, 1 person at 9p, and the rest at 10p. That's how it's always been. Ever since E-schedule, the schedule always says 12a but the night crew gets overrides to start at 8, 9, and 10. Starting next week, management i...

So we had to wear red shirts that said something like "we're here to help you!" on the weekends. Then a few weeks ago they were all gung-ho to make them our week long uniform and made the announcement. Then like two days later they declared the red shirts were gone for good and we were going back...
