I work in the Produce Department in the Kroger Central Division. On Sunday afternoon while filling the bananas a customer came to me and asked. "Do you work here or just stock Bananas?" I couln't believe it. Can anyone top this?

I just got hired and was given 34.5 hours my first week. I told them my availability was open, but that doesn't mean that I want to work that many hours. Can I specify that I only want say 20 to 25 hours a week? I don't care what days or times, I just want less hours.

Can someone tell me exactly what a "job step" in this company is? I looked on express hr because I noticed I had gotten a raise, and then I saw the job step thing. There are only 4 people in my department. My job step is 20, my next job step is 0030. I don't know what this means.

Yay! i found me a nice dark little corner to creep into and not be japped out by management every 5 minutes!! YAY!!!!! (I only make 7.25 an hour and nothing i work with is lightweight, and they want it out NOW! can you really blame me for hiding? lol).
