A friend of mine is quitting Kroger in Tennessee and going to work for Publix. Does anyone know anything positive or negative about this employee owned Grocer? The department managers are paid very well $50-60,000 per year. Compared to Kroger at around $35,000.

So I'm pretty sure when I was hired I told the secretary to take out MORE taxes than what was supposed to be taken out, and I just did my taxes and well I get to pay in 40 dollars. We are on the pork and grind program but i was informed yesterday we will be cutting our beef selection down to 40 some varieties, this sounds like a set up to me.
