In our company (obviously Kroger ha), they act like there is no favoritism or that they don't prefer certain people over some. But I'm sorry- I think this is ridiculous. I'm not trying to slander any of my coworkers, i simply want you all to know that the problem of favoritism and shrugging off requests...

Our scan rate is down so we no longer have bagwells on the casher's side of the counter. i cannot remember where i saw this, but i know i read somewhere that some stores have greeters. How would a person go about applying for this position? would their pay/benefits be the same as a regular employee (non-bagger) or do the hours come from the front end/baggers?

Well the new contract here in Michigan that we get to vote on on Aug 24th, is nothing more than an insult to us employees. The offer is as follows: $700 lump sum for Department Heads $500 lump sum for full timers $300 lump sum for part timers 25 cent raise Aug 7th, 2011 with a 3 year maximum raise of 75 cents. K...

Is there any place I can get the book online? I believe I was wrongfully terminated by the HR manager because I was getting close to retirement after 15 years with the company and called and asked about it but the HR manager is refusing to send me a copy.
