i think my store manager gets home and makes a dry martini. he then yells at his kids like he is yeling at his employees. during dinner he tells his wife that dinner is not up to standards and she better do a better job tomorrow or she will be demoted and make $8/hr. he then walks around his kingdom with a notepad and writes down 'opportunities' that can be had. he then makes a page for a family huddle and points out how things are looking crappy around here and who needs to do what to improve it. off he goes to the bar for another ****tail and disappears into the study while the family slaves away taking care of all the **** he mentioned. soon afterwards he hears some yelling and the front door slam is informed that his 16 year old son walked off the job and is heading over to the neighbor's house who father is the manager of WalMart. His youngest son accidently drops his milk glass on the kitchen floor and cuts himself. Accident reports are filed. Later he notices that $20 is missing from his wallet he left on his dresser and heads off to look over some video. he sees that his 14 year old daughter heisted the loot and calls her into the study and grills her. she asks if this is an investigation and uses her Weingarten rights. He gets real pissed and calls in the wife. After a hour of talking all that happens is that he reaches in his wallet and gives her another $20. it is now 9pm and he gets a call. It is the single lady a few doors down. he is now 'transfered' to a new store. chaos breaks out/ moral is in the tank - but who cares cause he is now getting divorced from this family and is now screwing around with the single lady with 6 kids.....
He probably eats and soon after goes to sleep. Do store managers even have a life? Their hours are ridiculous. But food is their only joy and they take their bitterness out on their employees. Really it's a sad life and glad I'm not one even if they do make more money.
