So I finally was informed today of the result to my suspension. I am officially terminated from Kroger effective on the day of my suspensions.
So that's that.
I do want to point out real fast what the reason is for my termination. It apparently will be under the term "workplace violence". I am in firm disagreement to this particular categorization. I am planning to pursue this further. I believe what I did construe 'incivility" and not violence. It is my desire to right this situation to the best of my ability in the attempt to rectify the wrongness done here. That's all

Toldja! Kroger Means Better Meat! Now they're not the only girl in town so go get a better job in a better work environment. Let It Go or like the old saying "the Horse is Dead, Get Off of It!" Good Luck and You should treat this as a positive thing and maybe that's hard to see now but later on you'll realize that one of the best things that happened to you was getting away from those type environments where the dysfunctional bottom feeders are allowed to work like unsafe slobs.
My whole point is that this does not (in my opinion) constitute workplace violence. More likely workplace incivility. I am considering my options right now up to and including defamation.

I'm sorry this has happened to you, and I'm sure we all here wish you the best of luck in whatever your future holds.
As for legal action.....get ready for a very bumpy (and probably fruitless) ride ahead. You were up against a female minority, in a place and time where they have ALL the rights and white men have none. My remark isn't racist, it's reality.
I knew a guy at work that pushed a cashier and sucker punched him while they were both on the clock. The cashier kept his job and the other guy was suspended and then fired. 2 weeks later with the help of the union the kid that was fired was working again with no seniority loss. Contact your union guys....that's why we pay them.

Well that just goes to show differing experiences on the matter. I knew a cashier and a bagger who got in a fight in the parking lot. Cashier was on break. Bagger was off the clock, out of uniform, and instigated the fight. Both got canned.

That may be, but the other side of it is that I've seen people swear at a manager at a non-union store, and lose their jobs over it, and then, people doing even stupider stuff at Kroger, and keeping their jobs. So, maybe it depends on the store you're in. I always say...Each store is different...
