In most contracts you have to average enough hours over a long enough period. In local 1995 it's 38 hours per week for 12 weeks.

The only other way is to be promoted to a position that is by definition full time.

In local 700 its depends on when hired.... Hired prior to October 16.1983 its 24 hours per week for 8 weeks .... Hired prior to July 25,1997 its 30 hours per week for 8 weeks...... And hired after July 25,1997 its 36 hours per week for 10 weeks.......

In 876 its at least 36 hours for 12 "consecutive" weeks or 38 hours....its the consecutive that gets you. You'll get the full time benefits but not the status sooooo every week you can worry if you are going to get the full time hours.

They all used to be that good. Basically the newer employees get the dregs of the benefits.
