What is e schedule? I'm part time but always get my 40 hours...I heard the computer randomly makes the schedule for the csm is that true? Couldit hurt my hours?
The schedule has been mostly written by the computer for years now already. Eschedule is just another system to replace the one we use currently. I hate that you get 40 but are still part time, since yes it might hurt your hours.
Wait I'm confused here how are you working 40 hours a week and still part time???? Because if you worked enough consecutive weeks at 40 hours you should be bump up to full time status....

It depends on where the OP is located and what the union agreement is with kroger. Generally, southern states use hours to determine if a person is full time. In northern states, those hours for that long will get the person "fulltime" insurance but not gaurantee a full time position.
OP, what state are you in or what is your union local #. Do not post your exact location on this forum.
For me, my hours are going to be cut to 28 hours a week per my contract(#876) period even though I have been working 40 a week for the last year. I am waiting to see tho, lol. Obamacare is partially responsible but there are other factors that are forcing kroger to use these hours.

There are so many PT'ers in my store that have FT benefits, and work FT hours, yet STILL are not status 1. Some have been there over 5 years. It is an insane amount.

Depending on your local union's contract, working 40hrs for 12 weeks consecutively usually CREATES a Full-time position...you ARE NOT automatically bumped to FT status...a Full-time opening is created and posted for all employees to apply and is then given to the person with highest seniority and open availability...you have to submit your bid for that position along with everyone else to be considered.
