Kroger practices when closing a store
Permalink

I was employed for one of Kroger stores that just recently closed.  We were told to fill out a transfer form unlike the original form than you will fill out when you want to move to another store.  When confronted, we weren't given many choices.  There were only 2 choices either fill out the transfer form or be laid off.  We were told that we would not lose our availability and our pay that were we making at the time of closing.  That was a lie.  I have decided to file a lawsuit.  I feel that this company have practice unfair and unjust employment for a long time.  If there is anyone who feels the same can you join with me in pursuing this issue.  Because they have went to this system of e-scheduling I am force to change my availability.  And the transfer form that they made us sign was very unjust and unfair.  If there is anyone whose has went thru a store closing with this company please let me hear from you.  If there are enough of us who speaks out something can be done.  Or if there is anyone who feels they were pressure by this company to be demoted, transferred, or lied to please let hear your voice
