I have worked for Kroger 8 years now im currently on my 12 week of opening up a fulltime postion and my manger came down and told me im not to open it and I am to leave early this week im the top partime person in my department and they make me leave before any of the orther people love the fact for years now I have done my grocery mangers job order and was even left in charge while my backup and head was out got no extra pay but now to open up a fulltime postion and let me bid is out of the question they would rather spit in my face never trust your store manger co manger or even you backup or head it gets you NOTHING

If you're scheduled 40 hours work it. How can they make you leave early?

You are entitled to work your hours as scheduled. file a grievance.

Nah, skip that. Just work the scheduled hours and when they inevitably try to write you up for it, that's when you file a grievance.

Kroger does care for its employees. As proof, they will probably increase the wages of most workers to $10.10 an hour. It's because they care.

If they scheduled you 40 hours that week and it was posted by noon that means that it can't be touched without your consent. Don't agree to it. Contact your union.
