Of course not, just post a bunch of signs stating what the new "reasonable" expectations are and tell produce and grocery to step up their game... even though they're probably going to spend more time ever up front bagging and checking.
Big new bonuses for the geniuses that came up with the next big great program? Check. Pay raises for employees already working hard and are now expected to work harder? Of course not, they should just be grateful they have a job, obviously! Minimum wage, but maximum expectations.
A couple months from now, this great new program designed to take the company to new heights will be swept under the rug, a forgotten failure, and eventually replaced with the next, great new program that's designed to take the company to new heights.

Agree with what you have said, but the last part is the icing on the cake. All these "programs" to help us do our jobs but in the end it just complicates things more!
I work on a grocery stocking crew. Bleach really destroys these shirts. What a shame.

I work overnight and have to have my apron on at 6am sharp(when the store opens).
We got new aprons added to our attire. But, we can now wear blue jeans instead of black pants. It only doubles the time it takes to get my cutter out of my pocket. Oh, well. Atleast some brain trust got a bonus for the idea.

We had our crews' hours cut by 29 hours but were told we need to do a certain task that will take 70 hours a week!
I am not sure how other stores run their stock but we will need to double our crew to meet the demands.
Currently, our backroom is full of peyton and a double grocery truck. Basically, 3 trucks! We were instructed to run backstock for the entire store everyday before anything else is ran. So, how long will it take the managers to notice there is no time to run regular stock if we do that. One day of not running regular stock and we will have 0 room to move around in the back of the store.
Can anyone give me directions for looking up ELMS for my store? I am wondering if we are being scheduled the correct amount of hours for the work we are supposed to be doing. My manager mentioned that she needs to hire 5 more people to meet the needs but the 5 current part timers are only scheduled between 24 and 32 hours a week. The expectations do not match up to the time given.
