Payroll problems happening in your store?

hello fellow Kroger employees,

i work in district M of the Michigan division. It seems we almost never have people getting their raises, premiums, or top rate adjustments on time. The company always gives "Retro pay," but it sometimes takes weeks or even months, and when it is brought to management's attention, all they seem to be able to do is forward it to human resources. the problem is often fully out of their hands, which is frustrating to them. Some of these raises and adjustments have been in the contract for more than two years, and they're still late getting them done and even later correcting the inevitable mistakes.

I'm trying to get a sense of how widespread these payroll issues are. Is it someone in my district asleep at the switch? Is it the whole division? Maybe it's the whole enterprise.

 

if you or someone in your store have experiences this, I'd be very interested to know what Local, division, and district you belong to. If your payroll problems are rare or are fixed efficiently, I'd like to hear that, too.

We don't have that problem in our Day/Cin KMA.  It might just be your kma isn't with it or doesn't give raises or retro unless you tell them to pad their bottom line which would be a shame.
