Will someone please tell me step by step how to do the wic fruits etc when its over the six dollar limit and they pay the rest with cash or a card?....Is there any sort of manual for Kroger cash registers that newbies can read so that we can learn things like this without being dependent on the fs or another cashier to hurridly do it for us? I work in a very busy store. Thank you for your responses.

1. No manuals.
2. WIC transactions may vary by state. For us, any WIC transactions can be completed for any purchase by hitting our WIC key twice. Even if WIC items are mixed in with non-WIC items, our system automatically sorts it out.
3. If WIC cannot cover all eligible items, we key in whatever the maximum balance is left, and hit our WIC key twice. Same process for EBT cards.
Best thing for you to do is to come in whenever it's not busy (down times) and ask another cashier. That is, if you have the time.
There are manuals for our registers, they might just not be distributed in all divisions for whatever reason. When I started checking I just kept it on me in case I had to do WIC, Coinstar, etc without bugging the **** out of the FES.
