She'll just sign her name a bunch and write her EUID (which the trainer will have) on a bunch of pieces of paper while sitting through a grueling lecture on the history of Kroger and a bunch of other corporate cult bull****.
Be sure that the time that it takes her to sign away her soul as well as watching the grueling lesson of Kroger's history is recorded. They should've asked her to sign in somewhere, and sign out later. Amazingly enough, they get paid the moment they become "new hires", even if it's paperwork, orientation, etc.
For me it was 2- 4hour days on computer training. Then one 2 hour day for orientation touring the store, watching the video and listening to a manager talk. Paid for 10 hours.
