I work in the Fuel Center.

A couple of questions I need answered:

1. Why am I now not being scheduled to work Sundays when I was working closing shift every Sunday before?

2. If a worker goes to the union for a 'hostile work environment' complaint and another complaint about her seniority over others, will this affect me and my job?

3. My last break was over 3 hours late because of Customer Service throwing an unauthorized pizza party after the boss left. Is this allowed? Will they get in trouble for not giving me my break when they are supposed to? Will I get in trouble for it? (I called them multiple times asking for them to send someone out because I had to pee).

4. I'm constantly being talked bad about and treated horribly by someone who works inside. Will she eventually get in trouble for this or am I **** out of luck?

1) could be many reasons. Someone new is working that shift, Someone is taking that shift do to seniority, hours are getting cut and you're the fat on the bone, ect.

2) Normally, it's suppose to be confidential.

3) You're probably not going to get in trouble and, sadly, they aren't either. I'd have made a "Back in 5 mins" sign and went to take my piss.

4) same as 3 except making a sign will not help. You could go to a manager and talk to them about it but it all depends on who holds the most favor with said manager.

Best of luck to you.

Thanks :)

Well not long ago my manager yelled at me for making a 'sorry we're closed!' sign while I went to the back to count lotto sheets. So I don't make anymore signs just so he won't freak out on me.

I'm just fed up with what I put up with and I'm not getting any respect from others that work there.

I totally understand where you're coming from. Having to hold in urine is so annoying and I would never stand for someone telling me that I couldn't go if I had to use it. It's inhumane.

Bring a piss bucket with you. If confronted, tell them that if they didn't withhold/delay breaks for you, then a piss bucket wouldn't be necessary.

Only Kroger-issued pissbuckets are allowed on the job, though. I tried bringing in mine from home one time and I got written up for it.

I visited a hospital as a kid and played with what I assumed to just be an empty juice container. Turns out it was a piss bottle.

I can't blame anyone for my ignorance on that. The darn container was shaped like... well, it had a curvature to it that would match a man's genitals in its "resting" state.

Is there a PissBucket Dues taken out of your check every week?

Yeah, and imagine the fit Eco-Lab will have for not using one of their own urine receptacles.  Gonna lose a lot of points on the next inspection.

Everyone knows a die hard Kroger employee wears Depends!

(Actually a nascar saying)

I agree with Bagboy.  Put up a sign and go to the bathroom.  A 30 minute wait is asking a lot.  A 3 hour pee wait is way too long and unhealthy.  Speak to your union rep to make sure it doesn't happen again and to find out how you are to deal with it if you are denied a potty break.

I used to work at a Subway-TCBY that would do so much business during a rush that I would have to 'hold it' for up to four hours. It was annoying.
