Question About Tax Letters for Ringing Up Items
Permalink

I know most of the tax plan letters that come up when you scan an item, e.g.: "1.99 F" or "1.99 B"

F = Food stamp eligible

B = Both food stamp eligible and taxable

N = Neither food stamp nor taxable

T, X = Taxable, not food stamp eligible

The other day I noticed another letter, Q. Does anyone know what this one means?
