I started working at a Kroger a couple towns away, you know boundaries and stuff; my 30 day review is coming up and I'm curious what should I expect to hear?
I've worked for Kroger for nearly a year and I've never had the first review. In fact management tends to take a distance approach to their employees, there is virtually no interaction at all, unless you are being written up for something. I've never had any conversations with my department head beyond him telling me to do something specific or the one or two times I attempted to initiate dialogue.
More or less they will just tell you what they think you're doing well at and what you need improvement on... and if they are going to keep you around. Evaluations happen about once a year and it's the same stuff over and over again.
