So, I just started working at Kroger, and I'm a cashier. I was told that I would be paid every friday. However, the only two paychecks I've received are from my training, and from my first week. My first week's check was a week late; the only reason I knew what was going on was because my store manager called and said there was a check sitting for me at the store, and that she could mail it if I wanted.
Two weeks later, and I haven't received my paychecks for the last two weeks, nor have I gotten calls about them. Still waiting on my direct deposit to go through.
So my question is: is there somewhere in my store where I'm actually supposed to pick it up? I was never told, and anyone I've asked has been less than helpful. If I continue to work without bing paid...what should my next step be?
that's the thing...I asked customer service about my checks, and they said they didn't have any for me. Not only that, but my online pay stubs said I HAVE been paid, when I haven't been. And then the online pay stubs said I worked way less hours than I actually did...on one day, they shorted me six hours
