I'm from the Cincy/Dayton division, and I gotta go to the Tri-county office for management training this week.
Does anyone know what you're supposed to wear? I figured it wouldn't matter, but my boss said to wear my uniform.
Also, if anyone else has been through it, what should I expect? How much do I actually have to pay attention? And they're not gonna make us do trust falls, are they? I am not up for that.
What department are you training for? The "how much do i have to pay attention" part scares me... don't end up being one of the crappy managers who don't know what they're doing and just hang out with their best friend all day. lol

Your boss said to wear your uniform. You say it doesn't matter. Why ask us?
Jeans and flip flops should be fine, you won't be around customers. You listen to them talk, watch a video, then they bring in lunch for you. Afternoon another talk, another quick video and you are done by 1:30 at the latest.
I'm going for Drug G/M, but I'm only going to be an assistant manager. Which I've already been doing for the last couple months already; I don't think there's much that I don't already know how to do. Not to sound full of myself or anything, but it just seems a bit arbitrary.
It was my co-manager who said to wear a uniform. (My dept. boss hasn't actually ever been.) She said sometimes they take you on "field trips" to other stores, or something. But I don't wanna be the only one who shows up in uniform on the first day.
