Vacation Hours?

I took my vacation week last week (Aug 30 through Sep 05) and while checking my hours on my pay stub I noticed I was only being paid for 21 hours. At one point last week (maybe Tues or Wed)  I checked my schedule on greatpeople.me and it had said I was getting just over 5 hours per day, it was some weird number like 5.??. I was expecting to get at least 35 hours for the week so it's kind of a shock to see only 21 hours on my paystub. Can anyone clarify this for me? I'm only part-time if that makes a difference.

It's the average of hours you've worked per week altogether, I believe.

because you saw 5 on each day you thought you were getting 35 hrs?

mine said 4 each day but I had a 31 hour vacation. It says on Express HR under info how many hours your vacation is.

Your vacation is your average hours each week. So 21 was your average work week.

Your vacation pay will be the average hours you worked each week for the last 52 weeks.  So, add all the hours you worked for the last 52 weeks and divide by 52.  That is your vacation pay.

ps.  I did the math once and it was right.

Yep, it's based on the average of the hours you worked in the previous fiscal year.
