Hi, on my paystub, what does 'NP After Mid' stand for and mean to me? Also 'Sun Amt Prem'? Thanks!

Some of the older contracts paid a premium of 50 cents if you worked on Sunday.  Don't know if they still pay it in some areas.  I don't know what the first abbreviation is.

I believe the first one stand for night premium after midnight,  In Cincinnati/Dayton, the night premium is $1/hr from 10 pm -6am.

Our contract is $2/hour extra for Sundays.

Odd to use night premium after midnight.

 1. An extra $2/hr is excessive. And night premium after midnight makes some sense, though most night crews start breaking down the truck at 9 or 10.

In Cincinnati/Dayton, if you were hired before I believe 1980, you get time and  a half for Sundays.
