Getting in touch with employers

so how do they expect us to get in touch with the employers, because the cust serv at the location where i work dont know the extension to the depart ment i work in. I think thats unprofessional and disorganized.

I'm a little confused. You say "employers".. Do you mean customers?

In most stores, customer service will just page the department or sub-department over the intercom. "Floral, you have a call on 101" etc.

Kroger is your employer. They have phone numbers online for a whole bunch of different things. 

 

What does the meat department have to do with it? They don't hire you.

 Ask someone in your department what the extension is.  You can also find the nearest phone in your department and the extension number should be on the phone.
