hello, i have a few yrs in at kroger, just got married, spouse is not working (on the books), so she can't prove she works for insurance.. so, can i insure her on my kroger, um, union insurance? all i know it i pay 5 out of my check for it a week, not sure about all these ranks associated with it. i know i am up for renewal, and looks like i can move to a better plan, like 10 a week.. question is can i add her as a pt employee or not? thanks. if you say call 'em to ask, i did, never got through, and no one has returned my calls. typical union bull****.

What division are you in? The latest Atlanta contract dropped spousal insurance.

That contract was rejected in the first vote and the company came back and said either no spousal insurance or no part timer insurance and the union begged people to accept doing away with spousal coverage.

My daughter is unemployed and uninsured.  I went to the large county hospital and enrolled her on their program.  She just had surgery and the total cost was $150!!!  Her MRI was $50.  Doctor visits are only $10.  Better deal than my BCBS insurance I have.  (My insurance dropped her last year when she turned 26)

Does nobody get the gist that you should probably be working full time in your 20s.

A lot of people in their twenties are going to school so they can only work part time.  Get that gist?
