Tax man cometh...but no longer part of Kroger
Permalink

So it's almost tax time, and my question is:

If you are no longer an employee of Kroger, but you worked there for a good bit of the year, will they just send the tax info via mail, or how would I go about getting it?

They're suppose to send it to you.  Back when I was going to school and just working during the summer, I never had any problem getting my W-2 forms.

No matter where you're working, aren't companies always supposed to mail them to you?

By logic, it'd make sense, but this is Kroger we're talking about.

Gonna be looking out for mine though, thanks!

They have to mail it to you.  It's a federal law.

I had to go online and submit a request to have it mailed.  Otherwise you print a copy from the website.  I have no idea what website it was now, this was years ago and I only did it the first year, then they always mailed them.  The first year nobody told me you had to request a copy in the mail, I kept waiting and waiting.
