I live in Michigan and worked in an MI store, but I remember another district outside of here was talking about how QueVision showed 0's across the board, and how they were doing away with it.
I was shopping the other day and noticed that the QueVision lottery numbers were indeed stuck on 0. I wasn't sure if it was because this particular store was remodeling or they got rid of it in this division for good as well.
Now if they can get rid of the whole "say hi to everyone" and it might be somewhat bearable.
I had heard from ACSMs from a couple of different stores that they were no longer being penalized for dips and that all the "Faster Check Out at Kroger" signs were being taken down (all the signs are indeed gone), but many of the practices that were put in place in conjunction with the software are still being followed, like surge helping being called when there are more than two people in line and I guess the software is still monitoring wait time which shows up in reports that management still gets mad about if the reports are below expectations.
Disappointing, because I had hoped that it was truly going away, because that would have at least made work a bit more tolerable and manageable.
Sure wish it would die. Half the time I'm the only side help my store has. They're supposed to call salad bar after floral and produce but that never happens I'm always called first. I have found if I wait a couple minutes the lines are gone by the time I get up there.
