ok so 4 weeks ago one of my supervisors asked me what week i wanted to have my paid vacation for 2016. since i ended up not using the vacation time for last year until the last minute i just ended up saying **** it and asked for the first week of January since i had stuff planned around that time. so i filled out the request forum they handed me and gave it to my supervisor to sign off on it and i didn't think anything of it until last week. so i asked my supervisor one last time (since we've had issues with him being clear with me on stuff like this before) and he said to my face that it was perfectly fine and i didn't need to do anything else to get my vacation this upcoming week. i listened to him and just went home. now today i saw on my e-schedule that i had no paid vacation and that i was suppose to go to work this next week, and when i told my supervisor this he said that i needed to request the paid vacation online even though i gave him the request forums he gave me and signed off on. i don't know if this is true or not but even then i asked him if i was fine for paid vacation and if i needed to do anything else and he said no and that i shouldn't worry about it. guess i was wrong..
