I'm a CC. This week, I'm being cut from 40 hours down to 29 hours. I'm a full-timer. However, there's a CC who has only been there a few months and is getting 38.5 hours this week. We both have open availability. I've been working at Kroger for almost two years. On the schedule, I'm the very first person and he's the very last person. Can my schedule writer even do this?
Are you still out in the fuel station? If so, would that have any connection to who mgmt gives hrs preference to? ---either way, I'd be throwing a $hit fit over it.

In our contract if someone below you gets more hours you can bump their hours. This has to be done by noon on Saturday after the schedule is posted. Talk to your Union steward for the particulars of your contract.
I don't think CCs are able to be full timers. A FT is guaranteed 40 hours in Michigan. Speak to your union rep.
You have more senority so you should be getting more hours. But, If you do not have open availability, then the other person can have more hours.
If you have restricted hours or aren't available 24/7 and the other person is not restricted and is available 24/7, then they can get more hours.
We both have open availability. I get 40 hours a week with weekends off usually.
You should have grieved the hours or bumped the person before Saturday at noon. If not, then there isn't much that can be done about it now. Check next schedule sooner. Ask your shop steward about how to grieve hours. You can grieve it and be wrong. Atleast you will have an explanation for why they are getting more hours.
