Yes, the president announced it at our town hall meeting last month.   They didn't give any details, just that it was going to be later this year.

We received a couple of boxes containing what appeared to be red aprons with "Taste of Spain" written on them a few days ago, so no doubt, it's happening. Yeah, employees weren't exactly thrilled... and management wasn't, either, lol. Taste of Italy was a disaster and customers didn't respond well to it, so... I guess we'll see how this one goes over. I still say Kroger will never compete with Central Market, which is what I think Kroger is trying to do with the whole "Taste of..." promotions.

Why don't you educate yourself and look up Spanish cuisine?

It's 140°F; your face is being sand-blasted . . . yet somehow, working for Krogrr is worse.

They need to get this Taste of Spain started and done with.  Red, dead and BBQ is right around the corner.

It's a wonder Kroger didn't make the employees wear sombreros during Taste Of Mexico.

I wonder if Kroger will do a Taste Of Japan event and play Japanese music over the PA lol. (I'll be okay if they play J-pop and J-rock such as The Pillows and X-Japan.)

It will be like saying that we don't need the taste of the

USA ,because we already have the taste of England. As England Spain is the Motherland of all spanish speaking countries ,but all those countries have a different cousine.Mxican cousine is different from even Cuban,Costarican,Venezuelan etc.I you have a clear idea now why we can have a taste of Spain and enjoy it.

It's completely different from mexican food. Spanish food is not hot spicy. we eat lot of bread. Our tortillas are made with eggs and potatos, we eat lots of pork products, being jamon Serrano a type of ham known internationally for its great quality, similar to prosciutto, but better. We eat lots of veggies as well... But mostly we are known for paella, a dish made with rice, sea food and other meats and veggies that is delicious. No chilies, no jalapeños, no corn or flour tortillas, no chips and salsa.
