I was told by another employee that she had the pleasure(seemed like she enjoyed the fact that she was there to overhear the conversation) of hearing all the managers complain about all the floor supervisors. They said they felt they had to babysit a certain one of us, then I was told that it was said that I don't do enough, but I had to handle something before I was told what was said about the other two. Here's my thing...I bust my ass for Kroger, even with the ****ty pay. If they need me to come in early, stay late, or come in on a day off I do so without hesitation. Sometimes without even being asked. If I open floors the the closing supervisor is basically being handed a passing que for the day regardless of what happens after I leave, because I can more often than not keep it high 80'S to 90'S all day( although usually around 90-95). If ques failing when I come in a can get it up, maybe not always to passing depending on how bad it is when I come in, but damn close. I make sure the front is in order, and I keep my customers satisified and coming back. I make sure theyre always in the loop, etc. I feel is though I work really hard, & I'm wondering why such was said about me. Now I'm not even sure what I told was said, was actually said. Because the person I heard it from has aspirations of being A supervisor. Shes been with the front end for 5 years, and has been passed up several times, including by the current 4 supervisors. She has no reason to lie, but if it's true I would like to know what I could do to fix this problem. I realize the managers of Kroger seem to find things to complain about, and are never satsified, but I still wanna fix this issue. More so because I want to be put in the back up program, and that definitely won't happen if they feel as though "I don't do enough"!
That's what is expected of supervisors. To "get blood from a rock." In other words do that and more. It's just the way it's gone and it's still headed down that path. Nothing much to do except go with it.
