In grocery, we're obviously not running backstock "every day before you run the truck" as they told us when they rolled out the orderrevolution. Never has that actually happened. Trucks get bigger occasionally and there are fewer workers so we have to steal from other tasks to get the trucks ran (conditioning is often the first task that gets the axe). Our store hasn't been fully conditioned in probably a month. Usually the guy will do a few aisles before stopping to help with the truck that is being ran by one person on your average day. We used to have an extra worker who came in to sort/run the grocery truck, well that's left for the kmp guy and conditioner (grocery manager, if we're lucky).
All told, our store looks like **** and I can't wait for the day when some corporate worm comes in asking "why?"
Are you ****ing stupid? I'll tell you why....
Oh forgot to mention, they aren't calling customer first any less. We're out of lots of items on the shelf because we just don't have the hours to fill it. One person cannot do the job of 3! If someone calls in, there's nobody to replace those hours because we don't have any extra bodies. S*** rolls into the next day.
I was working click it today and every time I went to the nature market or nutrition I could not find the products I needed for customers orders because the nature market does not have any hours to stock their department. This has been like this for two days. If Kroger wants online ordering then they need to start giving hours so the shelves are stocked.
