Our store we have a potluck. This year we are getting a turkey, ham,tri-tip and the employees are bringing in other goodies. The store is providing the turkey and ham and tri-tip plus the sodas. I'm gonna stay after I get off to participate!!!
We're doing a Christmas carry-in this Saturday i think, hopefully enough people sign up this time to actually do something (only one person made chili during the chili cook off)
More people always made food in my old store. :( lol
No clue what my store is doing. I know I have seen some cooked ham up in the break room like twice this last week. Had some of the King's Hawaiian rolls up there too. As well as a few cakes that people forgot to come and pick up. And some pies off to the side. But as far as I know, there is nothing planned for Christmas. However I had heard somebody over at the liquor store talking with the pastry chef and DH(Dept. Head) about a little something they might think about doing for the employees for the night before New Year's. Nothing too big but a little thing of Champange or something. Which would be kind of nice in a way, as I'll be on closing on the 31st and I don't drive anyway. So even if I am a little buzzed I won't be driving.
we didn't have a pizza party for christmas, but people did bring in some food for people to help themselves to in the break room. however, there's a pizza place in the same plaza as my store, so we get pizza sporadically which is pretty cool.
