Why do people respond to posts that are weeks. months, or even years old? Don't they look at the date of the original post and realize that the issue has either already been resolved or the poster has moved on?
Also, with this forum software, old topics do not get bumped to the first page so there is no reason for ever replying to a thread even on the 2nd page, let alone older than that.
Hello to the OP (original poster) who was wondering why OP (old posts) are answered weeks, months and years later. VERY SIMPLE!! There are many reasons, one being this..............hundreds of interesting (and, yes, STILL RELEVANT IN SOME WAY) topics are archived for our viewing pleasure, and they haven't all been started just in the past few days (i.e. page one) so it is a logical, sensible idea to use the SEARCH BOX , type in a topic, and read some past conversations relating to our good ole KROGER and its many problems / controversies / idiocies / solutions / situations / environment. Many of the same situations are still going on, years later. I have read many threads that were started as early as 2011 or 2012, and I actually have learned from them!!
ALSO, did you know that many, if not most, of these threads are indexed into GOOGLE so anyone surfing the web with a desktop computer or smartphone may end up landing on a particular thread started years ago, just by typing in a keyword search term on that search engine.
For example, go to google and type in KROGER MUSIC and you will find several good threads about the crappy music Kroger loves to play!! If you use the embedded SEARCH box here on this website, you can see how many views (and a vague indication of the popularity or interest of a particular topic) a thread has seen since it was started.

So what it am help other readers who are looking for answers and info on the same topic, so, the more answers the more info a new reader can get on the subject. I myself have gone through old topics
