Can someone who is knowledgeable PLEASE explain (in as much detail as you want to, the more, the better!) exactly how these work? There are supposed to be several different colored "heart" stickers available that can potentially be pasted onto these cards (about the size of a credit card) which are affixed below the employee name tag.
I'm not sure if this is something begun lately that is entirely storewide, or in only some states/cities/areas/districts/divisions???
I am too lazy to try to post a pic of the memo with the explanation. Last time I tried to post a pic, it didn't work. Ask a co manager for the memo on "Associate Recognition Program". They might be able to print it up for you or look around the store. It might be posted somewhere.
Our cards are blue and attach to the back of name tag.
You get a sticker if you get caught doing your job well by someone that has the stickers. I haven't gotten any stickers because I am a department manager and I give them out.
When your card is full or at the end of the period, you turn it in. It gets entered into a raffle. Each sticker gets you an entry into the raffle. Whoever gets picked, wins some kind of prize. Doesn't mention what the prizes are.
None of my coworkers really want the stickers. I have given some out to courtesy clerks. They like them.
In our Division, the stickers are handed out like this:
Cultural council members and department managers hand out green stickers.
Store managers hand out Bronze stickers.
District managers and coordinators hand out silver stickers.
President and Vice presidents hand out gold stickers.
I call them stars. They are square stickers with the customer first picture on them.
