There is hardly any meat cutting done in any grocery at this point most all of it comes in those gas packs. Krogers beef is mostly precut and one of the few items that does not come gassed like the pork, chicken, turkey and those nasty little chub burgers. this is part of the future of most places. I appreciate the face the red meat is not gased at this time.
What new changes are gona happen in meat and seafood?
New changes? Isn't that a bit redundant? Is there such a thing as old changes? I would think if it's a change, then it has to be new, unless of course you've been around as long as I have and it's gotten to the point where everything old is new again.
I doubt they will do away with in-store cutting completely. Customers like being able to order what they want at the counter. So many chains have gone prepack it can be a point of difference.
